Environmental Assessment (EA)
The Environmental Assessment (EA) posted below evaluates the potential environmental effects of feasible project alternatives for the Susquehanna River Rail Bridge Project. The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) is sponsoring the project. The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) is the lead federal agency for this EA. The National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak), as bridge owner and operator, is providing conceptual and preliminary engineering designs and is acting in coordination with MDOT and FRA. The project accepted comments on the EA through April 6, 2017.
